The 1998 Malvedos is showing a classic very dark colour. The nose is incredibly rich with intense aromas of blackberry and hints of plums, cherries and bitter chocolate. The palate is powerful, beautifully rounded with layers of tannins providing great depth and concentration, with a long lingering finish. Graham's 1998 Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Port is a fabulous way to end a lunch or dinner. It pairs wonderfully with chocolate desserts, such as chocolate mousse, but it can also be enjoyed on its own, providing a memorable moment in the company of good friends.
