This native species of wood does not change the character of the cachaca in the same way as an imported oak barrel – instead it imparts a unique honey and spiced note to the spirit. The result is an authentic Brazilian aged cachaca, with a rich fruity palette, spicy finish and exceptional smoothness. To enjoy neat or in mixed drinks. Abelha is also produced ethically.
